Vila Luz Suite Hotel * * * *

Situated about 100 metres from the coast and only 5 - 10 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach at Praia da Luz, the Vila Luz Suite Hotel is located on west side of the town, off the road to Burgau.   The Aparthotel has nineteen  apartments, including two suitable for handicapped clients, with 12 more coming on stream throughout 2007.  The apartments on the ground floor have direct access to the pool area from their patio.  There is no lift to the upper floor.  The apartments are designed to take a maximum of 3 people and a baby. Cots and high chairs are complimentary. 

All apartments have two individual single beds located alongside each other in a partially partitioned off area.  There is a separate full bathroom with bath and shower and a wall mounted hairdryer is included.  The living/dining/kitchen area  includes a three seater sofa bed, breakfast table with seating for 3 people and a wall mounted TV with a good selection of channels including some English language.  The kitchen area contains a fridge, kettle, microwave, two ring electric hob with extractor fan and ample crockery and cutlery for 3 people.  The living area opens onto a balcony or patio where there is a table and 3 chairs for outside relaxing & dining.  The apartments are air conditioned, contain digital safes and all have an underground parking space.  Irons and ironing boards can be provided from reception. 

There is a lounge area with a TV and 2 Internet access computers.  Adjacent to the lounge, through glass doors is the bar, where there are another 2 flat screen TVs which operate independently.  All 3 TVs receive Sky, including Sky Sports.  The bar serves snacks throughout the day. The pool area, which has both an adult pool and a small pool for children can be accessed through the bar or from reception.  Drinks, snacks and ice-cream are served in the bar or outside, under a shaded area close to the pools.

There is extensive terracing surrounding the pools with ample loungers for soaking up the sun and umbrellas for those seeking some shade.  The whole pool area has a tropical theme about it and has beautiful views out to sea.

Only a 10 minute walk from the many excellent bars and restaurants of Praia da Luz, this apartment makes an ideal location for a holiday at any time of the year .  Praia da Luz is also an excellent base from which to discover the rest of the beautiful Western Algarve and with the town of Lagos only about 10 minutes drive away as well, the choice of activities and places to visit and explore from this area is exceptional.
