Situated in the heart of one of Europe's finest marinas, is the Marina Club in Lagos. It consists of the aparthotel unit and two apartment units, with all rooms being designed and equipped with your comfort in mind and having daily maid service. Situated within easy walking distance of Lagos town, shops, bars and restaurants this the ideal base from which to explore the local area.
The Aparthotel contains the studios and the one bedroom suites whilst the two and three bedroom apartments are contained in the other units. The studio apartments have sofa beds in the lounge and are ideal for one or two guests. The one bedroom apartments contain twin beds and are ideal for a family of two adults and two children, or a couple who would prefer a more spacious apartment. Guests therefore have a fully independent air-conditioned apartment with a well eqipped kitchenette, bathroom, lounge with satelite TV and bedroom but also have the 24 hour reception cover and daily maid service that you would expect whilst staying in an hotel.
Over the other side of the pool are the two bedroom apartments, which are double glazed and air conditioned. Some apartments have garden views whilst others look over the pool. They have their own terrace area complete with dining furniture, with the groundfloor apartments having direct access to the pool area from their own veranda. Main access to the pool is gained from a gate adjacent to the apartment block. The contemporary designed apartments are fitted with a modern kitchenette. There is a master double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a twin bedded room with separate shower room. Each apartment has satellite TV showing Portuguese, German and English channels. The main Marina Club resort reception provides evening and night time cover, giving 24hr reception service. Each apartment is allocated its own underground parking space for your convenience.
The Dom Joao Junior suites are double glazed and air conditioned and all face the pool. They have their own terrace area complete with dining furniture, with the down stairs apartments having direct access from their own veranda to the pool. Main access to the pool area is through the reception area. There are also two lifts available for guests use. The contemporary designed apartments are fitted with a modern kitchenette and the lounge includes either a double bed or twin beds. There is a separate bathroom. Each apartment has satellite TV showing Portuguese, German and English channels. The Dom Joao unit has its own reception, open during day time hours, after which the main Marina Club resort reception provides evening and night time cover, giving 24hr reception cover. Each apartment is allocated its own underground parking space for your convenience. The Dom Joao unit also has 3 honeymoon suites with king size beds.
The club itself has an outdoor pool with a pool side bar, The Regata Bar, serving drinks throughout the day and the Way Point Restaurant which serves a buffet breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day and a la carte menu in the evening. There is a separate pool for children and also spa facilities containing a modern gymnasium, sauna, indoor pool with Jaccuzzi and beauty treatment rooms, offering a variety of massages and skin treatments, the perfect place in which to escape the stresses of day to day living that life can often impose upon us. The Marina Club is an ideal base for your holiday as everything is within walking distance. The 5 km long Meia Praia beach is a 10 minute walk, the busy Marina Quayside has cafes and bars where there is always plenty to watch, is on the doorstep and the old town is on the other side of the river - just walk over the opening bridge. Visit the historical churches, find loads of interesting small streets with lovely shops or just sit in a cafe and watch the world go by. |
