The new resort of Jardim da Meia Praia is located close to the beautiful beach of Meia Praia and only a short drive from the centre of Lagos. The architecture draws on the Moorish heritage of the region and the apartments are set in stylish clusters surrounded by landscaped gardens.
The focal point is the large pool, surrounded by sun terraces and complemented by the pool-side snack bar. There is a pool and play area for children and a tennis court - racquets and balls can be hired from reception for a small charge. For the summer season there will be kids' activity clubs during school summer holidays, professional tennis coaching and VIP access to the health club at the sister resort of Estrela da Luz.
Destino opens in mid June for the summer and will be offering a snack menu. It will be open from 11am-6pm (food 12-6), 6 days a week for the last 2 weeks of June and the first 2 weeks of September and from 10am-9pm (food 12-8), 7 days a week in July and August
The townhouses are in the Lagos and Luz clusters, which are situated in the cul de sac leading to reception. The two bedroom houses have one separate full bathroom and a cloakroom.
The living area includes both sitting and dining areas and all properties have either a balcony or terrace, ideal for outside dining. All kitchens are fully equipped with cooker and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. Irons, boards and hairdryers are provided as standard. Underfloor heating is a feature of these apartments and townhouses making them comfortable homes for winter stays.
Although a minibus shuttle will operate a daily service between Jardim da Meia Praia, the beach and Lagos town centre during the months of April to September, a car is recommended so that all the opportunities offered in the Western Algarve can be appreciated. Jardim da Meia Praia reception is open 7 days a week from 09.30-19.30 hours during October to March and 09.30-21.30 hours during April to September. Security cover is provided outside of these hours.
