Burgau is a small fishing village with narrow streets and a sandy bay. There are several restaurants and bars, which cater for a wide variety of tastes, just five minutes walk away in the village.
Apartamentos Os Descobrimentos, which translated means the Apartments of Discovery, are built on the headland overlooking the bay and enjoy excellent views of the sea, village and countryside beyond.
The swimming pool and terrace are at the seaward end, along with a bar serving drinks and snacks.
The three bedroom apartments are on two floors and consist of three twin bedded rooms, two bathrooms, cloakroom, fully fitted kitchen, large lounge with twin sofa bed and two balconies, one of which is partially enclosed. There is one penthouse apartment, situated at the seaward end and with an open top floor balcony while the lower floor balcony is partially enclosed. Two of the three bedrooms have en-suite bath/shower rooms and there is one further bath/shower room. There is a spacious lounge with two twin sofa beds,and a large, fully fitted kitchen and dining room.
Satellite TV is provided in all the apartments and all are furnished to a high standard with handmade chestnut furniture. Car parking is provided underneath the apartments.
