 Situated on the cliffs, overlooking the Baleeira harbour of Sagres and Martinhal beach across the bay, this beautiful, recently opened (August 2007) hotel has fantastic views across the sea.
Sagres and Cape St Vincent are the most westerly points on mainland Europe; with many fantastic beaches to choose  from, beautiful countryside close by and a wealth of history to appreciate, it is an area well worth visiting for a day, a week or longer.
In the hotel, there are 105 rooms, all with a modern contemporary decor and the majority with sea views. One wing of the hotel is dedicated to non smoking rooms and rooms with disabled facilities. All  the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, flat LCD screen TV, safe, mini bar and four pillows. Bathrooms include 100% cotton towels, bath gel, shampoo and natural soaps and hair dryers are available at reception.
There are 6 suites are on two floors with a large bedroom, living room and kitchen support. Extra amenities include a DVD and hair dryer and in the bathroom, robes, slippers and body lotion.
 The hotel has a restaurant, coffee shop and bar, all with sea views.
Restaurant: located at pool level, the tastefully decorated restaurant offers a Mediterranean cuisine with local produce. There are 60 seats in the dining room and the terrace has another 30 seats.
Bar/Coffee shop: beautifully decorated, the coffee shop offers a light and healthy meal service in addition to drinks and coffee, the service is  extended to the pool area during summer.

Swimming pool: overlooking the sea, the pool has magnificent views across the Baleeira harbour and bay and offers bar service in the summer and a solarium.
Memmo Spa: the spa has a lovely, indoor ,heated pool with sea  views, small gym, sauna, Turkish bath and three massage rooms.
Memmo Entertainment: a very comfortable room with large screen TV and library is available where one can read, play games and watch films from the hotel collection.
 Memmo Click: the Internet access room has three computers with high speed Internet access. There is also free wireless connection in the bar/coffee shop area.
Memmo store: small shop with summer articles and Memmo branded goods.
Close to Sagres, only minutes drive from the hotel, are the 16  century fortress where Henry the Navigator had his School of Navigation and Cape St Vincent, the scene of many major sea battles and today the site of the famous lighthouse. Lagos is around 30 minutes drive away and the nearest golf course is at Parque da Floresta, some 20 minutes drive. Sagres has a number of cafes and restaurants and the area is popular for water sports. The west coast of Portugal has spectacular scenery and Sagres makes an ideal base from which to explore this less well known area of the country.
