 Approximately 30 minutes drive from Faro airport, he Palm Gardens Ocean Villas are superbly located on a level plateau overlooking the ocean, close to the picturesque village of Carvoeiro. Centrally located in the Algarve, it is only 200 meters from the Vale Centeanes beach, about 8 minutes drive form Pestana Carvoeiro Golf and a few kilometres away from the historical town of Silves, water parks such as Zoomarine and other places of interest.
The Palm Gardens resort consists of 78 two-bedroom townhouses which are set in five acres of well maintained gardens and enjoy a wide variety of facilities. All the townhouses are tastefully decorated, have two bedrooms (sofa bed is provided for 1 extra adult or 2 children under 12 years of age) and well equipped kitchens fitted with a cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. Most houses have a balcony and enjoy a sea view and all have patio doors into the gardens. There is a full bathroom, a cloakroom with shower and air conditioning/heating throughout with control in the  rooms. Satellite TV (some English channels), radio/cassette player, direct dial telephone and safe (small charge payable locally) are all provided. Linen and towels are changed twice weekly, the maid service is provided daily except Sundays and public holidays, a Doctor is available 24 hours a day and a baby sitter can be arranged on request.
The large outdoor swimming pool, which is heated from  November to April, is located centrally along with the small pool for children. The pool is surrounded by a sunbathing area with sun bed and umbrellas. Drinks, snacks and ice creams are served at the pool bar which is open in the main summer months. The Palms Ristorante and Bar serves breakfast, light meals/snacks and has an evening à la carte menu with an Italian theme. A weekly show and live music event is also held in the Restaurant Bar. There is a reception desk which is open from 08.00 hours into the evening and the Palms Health Club offers  beauty and massage facilities, a small gymnasium with cardio machines and a sauna.
There is also a small play area for children, outdoor table tennis with rackets & balls available at reception. A hard surface tennis court is available to hire; book at reception, where you may also hire rackets and buy balls. Horse riding and water sports are also available locally. The beach is only  about 200 meters away where there is a small concessionary sun bed area in summertime for which a local charge is made.
Guests staying at the Pestana Palm gardens qualify for temporary membership benefits and discounts at the nearby Pestana Golf Resort. This features two 18 hole golf courses, Gramacho and Pinta, an impressive Clubhouse with giant TV screen, tennis courts, bowling green and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.
