 Built in a typical Algarvian architectural style, Luz Bay Club Hotel is situated only about 200 metres from the beach and a short walk to the town centre of Praia da Luz.
 Facilities at the hotel include two outdoor pools, a pool for children, three tennis courts (modest charge, payable locally) and a squash court. The bar, snack bar and restaurant offer a range of drinks and dishes to suit a variety of tastes.
The hotel boasts an indoor pool as well as a sauna and Turkish bath, adding to the attractiveness of the hotel as a winter venue.
 All the rooms are air conditioned with a full bathroom. There is satellite TV (limited channels), a safe, the key for which can be obtained from reception, telephone and a fridge. Maid service is provided five times a week. Half board evening meals may be booked in advance, should you wish. Ample car parking space is available.
The hotel offers 4 suites, 44 family rooms and 24 double rooms with two ground floor double rooms suitable for the disabled.
 Suites - sleeps 2 + 2
The suites are on two floors. The upstairs, galleried, mezzanine floor houses the air conditioned bedroom area. This is open to the stairway and the downstairs sitting area, also air conditioned, where a large sofa bed provides the extra two single beds. The telephone and satellite TV are also in this area. The separate bathroom has a bath and shower over. There is also a small kitchenette with fridge within this area, suitable only for the most simple of meals.
 Twin/double superior - sleeps 2 + 2
The door opens into a small sitting room area with air conditioning and a sofa bed to make the two extra single beds. A small patio with table and chairs leads off the room. Separated by a passageway housing the fridge and wardrobe with safe, is the main sleeping area, comprising two single beds pushed together. The telephone and satellite TV are located in this area. There is a bathroom with bath and shower over.
 Twin/double standard - sleeps 2 + 1 child
There are two single beds pushed together and the extra single bed, suitable only for a child, is in the form of a large wide chair which unfolds. The safe is in the wardrobe and the bathroom has a bath with a shower over. There is a small balcony or terrace with a table and two chairs.  The double rooms, suitable for disabled persons, are the same as the standard double rooms but slightly bigger all round. The bathroom has all necessary hand rails and a wide sliding door with plenty of room for a wheel chair.
