Intermarché - head west, following the road running beside the river, over the swinging ball roundabout and left at the next traffic lights.
All have fresh meat, fish, bread and vegetable counters and well as a range of groceries.
In Praia da Luz: there is Supermercado Baptista - from the church end, turn left off Rua Direita. Again there is a fresh fish, meat, bread, delicatessan and vegetables as well as imported favourites.
At Budens: on the EN125 junction for Budens and near to Parque da Floresta is Ecomarché. Fresh meat, fish, bread and vegetables are available.
Most supermarkets are open 09.00 - 20.30/21.00 every day except Sunday and public holidays depending on season. On Sundays the Lagos supermarkets shut at 13.00 although Ecomarche at Budens appears to be open all day.
As well as the larger supermarkets, there are a number of smaller convenience stores in Lagos, Praia da Luz and the villages.
