Experienced angler or novice, enjoy a day of game fishing with Joaquim Rio (Jacko) and the crew on board Pescamar

Pescamar 1 is a 33 ft Astinor 100LX sport fishing boat powered by two turbocharged diesel engines of 250hp each.

It is fully equipped with the latest electronic gear such as 2 VHF radio-telephones, fish finder, GPS radar and automatic pilot.  The boat has a permit to sail 25 miles off-shore.  With respect to fishing tackle, it is equipped with Shimano Tiagra and Penn senator rills, a Pompanette fishing chair and a set of outriggers.  Drinks and toilet facilities are provided.

The rich fishing grounds of the Algarve provide the sport fisherman with the opportunity to capture several species, including Blue shark, Mako shark and Hammerhead.

It is also possible to catch Blue Marlin, White Marlin and some species of tuna.  Bottom fishing provides all sorts of different species.  It is also possible sometimes, whilst fishing, to observe Dolphin in their natural habitat.  The boat leaves from the Marina at Lagos.
