Batata to Porto de Mos
There are several beaches on the western side of Lagos, all smaller than Meia Praia but, starting near the fort at the entrance to the harbour you can visit them on foot following the coast all the way round to Porto de Mos and on to Luz, if you wish. The Magic of Sailing
This is a unique opportunity to sail on a traditional Portuguese sailing boat and view the magnificent coast from the ocean. Join the boats on their daily sailing cruises - there is a 2 hour trip to the Grottos or the longer 5 hour BBQ cruise. Whichever one you choose, it's a great experience for the all the family. There are 2 restaurants to choose from, one on the beach with good views of the ocean and both run by Clube Porto Mós. There's a choice of meat, fish, pasta and salads together with the traditional Portuguese dishes of Cataplanas and Portuguese steaks. For more information and photos, click here.
